Ganesh Chaturthi
Today it is Ganesh Chaturthi. This a very big festival celebrated in Mumbai. This is the time to visit Mumbai with lights around decorated everywhere. In this festival people worship lord Ganesh they have ganesh idols kept in their homes and in the societies around. All over Mumbai you would find idol decorated, with music going on at the back…it is so colourful and exciting. This lasts for almost 9 days but some people do it for even 3 or 5 or 7 days but 9 days are the maximum time for this festival. I wish I could visit Mumbai in this festive season.
